ITINERARY: Hanoi Vespa Tours – Hanoi After Dark Food Tour by Vintage Vespa
Hanoi Vespa Tours: This is a gastronomic trip, so bring your appetite since there will be plenty of tasty beverages and interesting cuisine. We get the opportunity to sample the greatest genuine foods on the most famous streets where residents enjoy socializing with friends and family. Our guide and drivers will meet you at your hotel. We watch and listen to our guide for a safety briefing on things to look out for when riding on our antique Vespa, as well as where to get on the Vespa the quickest and how to seat comfortably. Simple signals to be used as needed. Our tour guide will go over our itinerary in detail and inquire about any particular dietary needs.
The first stop on our Hanoi Vespa food tours is a family-run diner that claims to be the greatest place in town for steam rolled cake Banh cuon. Following that, a 45-year-old restaurant selling local dishes such as Bun cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodle), Banh goi (pillow cake, local dounought, fresh/fried spring roll…)
The second leg of our Hanoi Vespa cuisine tours takes us through the alleyways of the old neighborhood, where sellers sell bright lanterns and lights for decorating. The journey next brings us to the Red River, where we can see Hanoi by night from both sides.
The third part of our Hanoi Vespa food tours would be cruising through tight alleys to Ngu Xa hamlet to enjoy various varieties of Pho and other meals, followed by a local BBQ seafood cafe where you will get a feast from the sea freshly caught and grilled. Our staff will drive us to West Lake for some great nighttime shots, and we will witness guards march out to ceremonious music to take the flag down at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to observe how much respect the Vietnamese have for this daily ceremony.
Our next destination is Hanoi’s bustling Train Street, an alley brimming with locals carrying out their nightly activities alongside active train tracks.
Our Hanoi Vespa food tours conclude with a stop at a secret local Egg Coffee dating back to 1946 to sample the best coffee in town and round up our gourmet adventure night. Relax and have fun with the journey!
