ITINERARY: Hanoi Vespa Tours – Hanoi Countryside Tour Vintage Vespa

Our guides and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. / 13:00 p.m. Watch and listen to our advice on safe riding practices and things to remember when riding a Vespa, as well as the simplest way to get on and off a Vespa and how to sit comfortably. Simple signals to be used as needed.

The first part of our Hanoi Vespa Tours will take us out of the city to an 800-year-old village to witness how people live in the countryside. We’ll take a picturesque detour to a bonsai garden to learn about this complicated craft and admire some of the stunning plant creations. Meet a local family that lives in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house, sample some sweets with tea, and spend time conversing with them with the help of our guide as a translator

The second part of our Hanoi Vespa Tours goes across Red River Island’s calm banana and vegetable agricultural area. Passing through green rice paddies and off the beaten path to a dirt road that takes us to the Co Loa citadel temple where we will learn more about Vietnam history through a historical site with beautiful scenery and land associated with the legend of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong setting up and protecting the country from foreign invaders dating back 300BC. There will be plenty possibilities to photograph the gorgeous scenery and the inhabitants working on their fields.

We’ll go to Hoi Phu hamlet, which is famous for making broomsticks, a prominent traditional craft in the Red River delta. Guests will be able to watch expert broom builders manufacture practical and attractive broomsticks out of broom grass.

The final stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours concludes in a local restaurant back in town, where we will sample some real Vietnamese cuisine and local egg coffee before being dropped off at your hotel.

ADDITIONAL INFO: We provide helmets, full body raincoats, face – masks, plenty of water and first aid kits are always available. So you don’t need to bring much! We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes. For women, we do not recommend skirts as it may be uncomfortable to ride on a scooter.
