Hanoi Bicycle Tours – Bicycle Tours Hanoi Countryside Half Day  Itinerary:

Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at 8:00AM or 13:00AM and bring you to our Bicycle store to select appropriate Bikes. Once you’re familiar with your bike, listen to a safety briefing. Then we’ll go on our ride!

First, we cross the Red River by the Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi’s oldest bridge, erected over a century ago during the French colonial period, to enjoy the panoramic view of the Red River, watch the boats drift underneath, and visit the green vegetable garden on the island.

Then we ride to the countryside along the banks of the Red River to take in the breathtaking beauty of Vietnam’s countryside and witness people working their properties. We’ll pay a visit to a local bonsai family to learn about this complicated art form and examine some of the beautiful plant creations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about local everyday life and traditions; our guide will act as a translator for us.

After that, we’ll ride our bikes to a nearby wet market and sample some tropical fruits. We stop at Lotus Lake to quench our thirst with sugarcane juice or other local fresh refreshments.

Continue riding over dirt roads and remote villages till we reached to Co Loa Ancient Citadel, which was erected in 200 BC, to learn about Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong’s heritage of building and protecting the country against foreign invaders.

After that we will visit Hoi Phu village, which is well-known for producing broomsticks, a popular traditional craft in the Red River delta. Guests will observe talented broom makers as they create functional and beautiful broomsticks out of broom grass. We’ll for lunch at a local restaurant where you can savor Hanoi’s delectable cuisine. Then get your caffeine fix with a unique Egg Coffee before getting back to your hotel. Let us share our love of Hanoi with you.

Dressing: Light and comfortable clothing and shoes. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.

Distance: This tour includes cycling 30 km on flat roads, back-roads to the outskirts of Hanoi. Our ride will require a basic level of physical fitness and you should be comfortable with riding bicycle.
